We’ve been working very closely with BT over the past few months to bring it all together, and to make sure that we can offer you the best possible price. There are various improvements since ceased to provide the service last year, for example, we can now offer our customers speeds of up to 21Mbps, whereas before we were offering a top speed of 8Mbps. Obviously this speed is dependent on where you are, and the quality of your internal wiring, but rest assured that we’ll do everything we can to increase your speed once you’re connected to us. After all, what’s the point in having full UK technical support if you can’t take advantage of it!.

The service will be fully launched on Monday 6th February , at which point, all of the prices and other service information will be published on our site. This is the only information we can provide at the moment, but any updates will appear here closer to the launch date, so keep your eyes peeled.

Just to let you know, over the Christmas break our offices will be closed, although our Platinum support customers will still receive service.

We will be closing for the Christmas break on Christmas Eve at Midday. We will re-open again for business at 9:00 (half an hour later than our usual opening time, we’re guessing that the effects of Christmas won’t give our staff any help in getting out of bed on the first day back!) on Tuesday 3rd January 2012. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the past year. Its not been easy to say the least, but we’re still here. I plan to build on this heavily next year.

This will mean that when our site goes down, you will see an up to date version of the site that’s been stored on a server, just before it went down. There will also be a little message at the top of each page explaining that the site isn’t live.

It will also make the site much MUCH faster. Speed of the site is something I know has been irritating a lot of our users !. This new system optimises the database that our site runs on, making it efficient and quick to load on even the slowest connections.

Whilst these changes are taking place, the site might go down for a short period. This is just while we update our servers (Its being hosted the other side of the planet now !). Enjoy it, one the new CDN’s set up, we’ll be here constantly, you won’t be able to get us out of your face !

The decision to set up this CDN was a response to the internal investigation we conducted into why the site had a week’s extended downtime, and what we can do to stop it happening again. This is the solution.

The unfortunate loss of Steve is echoed throughout the world today. The world as lost an iconic figure, a shining light of the last century. He built one of the worlds most successful companies, he wanted to change the world. He did.

The products, the ethos, everything has affected our day to day lives. Things we take for granted, without Steve, wouldn’t have happened. The way in which he thought was unique to him. Its that uniqueness that makes Apple what it is today. He knew what people really wanted, not what they thought they wanted. He is an inspiration to us all.

The world is a completely different place because of Steve, but an unimaginably better one.
